About the Committee

The Higher Education committee aims to become the central hub for fostering and supporting Cognitive Science training programs at all levels of higher education internationally.

The Committee will:

  • Collect and share information: We aim to compile and maintain comprehensive resources on undergraduate and graduate Cognitive Science training programs worldwide.
  • Provide a collaborative forum: Faculty, interested students, administrators, and leaders of Cognitive Science programs, centers, and institutes will have a space to exchange ideas, resources, and expertise. This builds on existing resources such as the list of Cognitive Science programs and administrators maintained by CSS.
  • Support new program development: By sharing information and best practices, we aim to encourage and assist in establishing new Cognitive Science programs globally.

Committee members:

Jennifer Culbertson, University of Edinburgh
Matt Goldrick, Northwestern University
